When you make a general donation to Helping Hand, you could be supporting a trip to the beach, a meal in a restaurant or going to a concert or a footy match. Or you may be enhancing our lifestyle programs, or assisting in the purchase of special equipment to benefit our clients.

Your general donations support everyone who receives services from Helping Hand – whether they are living in our residential care homes, our retirement villages or receiving help at home through our Home Care services. You decide where your donation goes.

The Helping Hand Dementia Scholarship

The Helping Hand Dementia Scholarship is a learning opportunity for Helping Hand staff working across every level of our organisation. The dementia scholarship helps us to create pathways for staff to learn more about people living with dementia and to support them share their passion for creating positive change in their working environment. We hope to create a legacy of learning around the role we all play in supporting people living with dementia. The scholarship is primarily funded by Helping Hand and we welcome donations from staff and donors to increase the range of opportunities we can offer.
