How to Access Help at Home

We are experts in aged care so that you don't have to be.

Do you want to access help at home? You will need to have an assessment with My Aged Care (MAC). MAC is the Commonwealth Government’s starting point on your aged care journey.

1 – The First Step to Access Help at Home

Check your eligibility with My Aged Care. You, a family member or friend can call MAC on 1800 200 422 or visit their website. Depending on your care needs, MAC will arrange an assessment with either a member of the Regional Assessment Team (for low level care needs) or a member of your local Aged Care Assessment Team (for higher level care needs).

Our friendly team are happy to help you through the process – we know it can be confusing. If you would like help, please call us on 1300 444 663.

2 – After the Assessment

The Assessment Team will write to you to let you know the level of care you are eligible for.

3 – Contact Helping Hand

Call Helping Hand on 1300 444 663 to talk about the costs and start to access help at home.
